brake
Can a Supplement Really Help Control Your Pesky Eye Floaters? "Sarah Brewer, a GP, is quoted in the article as saying that a supplement called Clearer, made by Theia Bio, is "a natural but effective solution to address annoying floaters". Despite the promise in the headline, Dr. Brewer does not talk about getting rid of floaters." "In 2022, researchers in Taiwan reported that taking high-dose mixed fruit enzyme supplements could reduce floaters, but it's not clear how they measured the number of floaters, so it is difficult to judge this study properly without more information." "Other "solutions" suggested online include intermittent fasting, temple massage, and acupressure, as well as eye exercises. But there is no credible evidence for these." "For example, eating lots of vegetables rich in carotenoids (spinach, broccoli, watermelon, pink grapefruit) and fatty fish containing omega-3, may help people at risk of age-related macular degeneration." Jay1
They are naturally occurring, so there is some likelihood that there would be a natural treatment. I might give "Clearer" a trial and report back.

yarkadin
A while back I read a study where a specialist discussed pineapple juice... in fact, looking it up now, it is also tied to some group from Taiwan: https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/health-and-nutrition/pineapple-eye-floaters-sweet-deal-or-pipe-dream. I think, in our case, the underlying problem is not the floaters themselves. Google AI overview (AI sucks, by the way) says floaters affect 7 out of 10 people. Probably everyone has them but only 7 out of 10 report seeing them.

The bromelain probably does me good in some way. Definitely does not significantly impact my visuals lol. Yeah, dude, drinking gallons of pineapple juice will probably just speed up the onset of diabetes, weight gain and other diseases... as if this is not enough to deal with A lot of these "organic" remedies are unfortunately total BS. But I don't discount the power of placebo on the human mind, it really can be dramatic, maybe even life-altering or life-threatening...
