TheGman6072
So I'm going to see an adolescent drug abuse expert tomorrow. My dad says he will be doing most of the talking and he and my mom just think that I told them about HPPD and dp/dr for attention. They also keep saying that Keppra is for epilepsy and it says nothing about treating HPPD. How screwed am I ?
Jay1
You are not that screwed.... you have parents who, though they might not understand the condition, are willing to help and support you. You have a whole host of info and advice at your fingertips. You are young and caught this early before you went head first into serious drug use. It might not feel like it now, but you are in a position that could easily lead to a full recovery.
trip into hell
man they are right keppra is for epilepsy patients but what they dont know is that epilepsy patients have some of the same symptoms as hppd sufferers and its well known that opioid agonists like keppra help with hppd, anxiety disorders and epilepsy, etc. and if you cant get keppra buy some kratom it acts on the same receptors...its legal and you can obtain it in every smart shop or some online shops...this works and always worked great for me ...but i dont know why i still give you advices since you constantly ignore my posts... Mr.50's
I will also give you a copy of the naltrexone/naloxone trial for depersonalization, and tell them you feel depersonalize do they will most likely understand that and help you with that more than hppd

trip into hell
I don't ignore lol I read them but I instantly forget. I just read your response like 5 times right now so if you really do..why do you respond to other post and dont tell me you only forget my posts...it makes no sense...there is nothing more conplicated to them compared to others. and if you forget everything you read...why are you posting here??? i dont understand..is it just for getting attention? Jay1
A long term hppd sufferer here (Merkan) had a huge increase in symptoms after Kratom use and had to be hospitalised.... so tread carefully. Trip into Hell, you really shouldn't recommend things like that, just on the basis that it is "ok for you"... also, there is zero evidence to suggest opioid agonists help hppd.
