hey there so i am 16 currently and took lsd once then smoked weed once or twice and now i have hppd i think so i keep having these dreams that fell real. almost to real. u know what i mean. so is there anything i can do if you have any ideas plz help

Having vivid/lucid dreams is not the same as HPPD.

What symptoms are you having during the time you are awake?

hey its me just from another account so i have a lot of visuals i see like these figures in trees and if i stare long enough at repetetive patterns or even the floor i also see like comic guys and stuff. i hope its goong aeay soon

My dreams have been a nightmare since i got HPPD 4 weeks ago as well, they are so intense that i have been waking up with 10/10 anxiety every day since this started. I thought i knew what hell was like, but HPPD proved me wrong.

@Hall89 how long did it take for the nights to improve? I’m 3 months in..it has gotten better but I still struggle with the sleep and have very vivid dreams

My vivid dreams went when i got on Lamotrigine around week 8 after the onset, so did the head pressure, visual hallucinations and 80-90% of my brainfog, it didn't do anything for the rest of the visuals though, that is, vs/static, halos, glares/starbursts, ghosting, palinopsia, floaters and bfep.

I have had very vivid dreams my entire life, I can pretty much remember almost every detail. Anyway, when I was in my 30’s I would have such vivid, nonstop dreams it was actually exhausting. I was Rx prazosin (brand name Minipress) and it took all of my dreams away. I dreamt nothing. (Well I’m sure I must’ve had dreams, but I remembered nothing of them.) prazosin is technically a blood pressure medicine but one of the side effects is causing you not to dream, so doctors would Rx it to veterans or others who had PTSD to suppress nightmares. Weird right?? I found out years ago that Viagra was a heart medication and now they just use it for…ya know. So while I was on the prazosin, I felt A LOT more rested. I took it for awhile then stopped because I was bummed to not be dreaming at all, and once I got off of it, my dreams/sleep went back to normal. Maybe you can ask about it?
