Jay1
Just a quick note that floaters are not caused by hppd, i've had them since I can remember. hppd sufferers see them more as we focus on our visual field. You can actually get surgery to get rid of them. Head pressure, I wear sunglasses as often as I can, indoors and out.

Caffeine, alcohol and cannabis dramatically increase my floaters or whatever the hell they are. I’ve noted heavy caffeine consumption induced closed eye visuals. Cannabis in particular gives me depersonalization that is reminiscent in severity of HPPD onset. Not sure what’s going on but whatever it is isn’t good at all. sami
I got floaters same time I got palinopsia, photophobia, halos, starbursts and dp/dr, and same time vs, ghosting and tinnitus got worse. Never had floaters before that. This is my theory on why: https://www.reddit.com/r/visualsnow/comments/cqwkw2/why_do_you_get_floaters_with_vs/ex09m8h Edited August 25, 2019 by sami
Jay1
Yep... It's likely that as you obsess over your visual field, you notice naturally occurring faults in vision I've had floaters since I can remember. They are a physical issue that can be fixed with lazer treatment.
