I've had hppd for a year now and it has completely ruined my life,

I'm always either paranoid/depressed and about 5 months after getting hppd I got social anxiety.

I have bad visual snow and everything in my vision looks weirdly outlined?!

Nobody believes me and my whole life basically feels like a trip?

I haven't done any acid but I still smoke weed everyday but it's basically the only thing that keeps me sane lol

I have no idea what to do with myself and half of the time I'm thinking whether my life is worth living anymore, anybody else get any of the same shit happen? How long have you guys had it and do you know anyone that's actually fully recovered from this or are we all fucked?

I've been 10 days without smoking weed now but I'm starting to suffer from really bad depression, and none of my symptoms have calmed down. What is the best medication for it?

This is bullshit, I've developed paranoia, depression & anxiety in the past year. Before ever touching acid I was completely normal human being with nothing to worry about

I'd suggest trying some CBD, if you have the pocket for it. So far CanChew seems to be legit, whereas CibDex made me stoned.

I'm going to try CBD again; I'd recommend it though from my previous experience. It was no xanax, but it was mildly anxiolytic. The thing is, though, that in the literature there are doses up to 1500mg/day used, whereas Cibidex and what not contain like 1.5mg per half dropper. Odisa, I saw you post about some other brand/source of CBD on longecity, any experience with it? it's expensive (like $100), but is a much higher dose (like 1500mg of CBD per cap). I may try some next month.

Unfortunately, I've heard bad reviews about that one; there are some on this site, as well as on longecity. The people behind the Cibidex products (who also sell CannaGum) are extremely kind. I still have A LOT of their products, so I may as well just take some daily until I run out.

Well that's all that matters! I'm actually glad to hear that just so I know I have more options (if something doesn't work for me I tend to try other sources of the same product to rule out a simple error in sourcing).

. I was just curious on the severity of ur symptoms as well as how long u have had hppd?? I too had to quit coffee and tea, it made my visuals go squirrelly. This disorder is horrible especially when ur at the pinnacle of it whilst everything seems to affect it.

Hppdlife u are obviously not to far into hppd if u can smoke marijuana regularly, there is certainly a thrush hold and u could be on the brink of full blown hppd after ur last session with marijuana. Not trying to scare yeah I just wouldn't want to C u like me.. Trust!!

Maybe but it works for me lol

Brake how u doing? Are u still doing the Cannabidials if so do they tell u what specific Cbd's ur ingesting?? There is a great feeling of relaxation with certain terpinoids that mix well with Endocannabidiols that make a good stack all natural which is good. Just make sure u stay away from the TETRAHYDROCANNABIDOLS.. TRUST.. But then again some people can do it without freaking out, I wouldn't recommend it especially if u have severe hppdΘ_Θ

Yes I am still using CBD oil but not everyday anymore. And wow I didn`t know there that there are different kind of CBDs.

Yeah, apparently there are different kinds; they all contain CBD (no difference there), but some have, as hppd24years stated, terpinoids along with dozens of other compounds that have cool lil names that I can't remember (haha). Very similar to how different all curcumin supplements are, in which some also come with turmeric essenial oil (essentially the turmeric fat), and some have dozens of other compounds that are beneficial, yet increase the cost, hence why most brands/sources don't include it.

Hey dude, I've been in Hell for a while now with this but ever since I stayed 100% away from weed I've been feeling better everyday.

I mean, I won't smell a bag of weed, I'll leave the room or party if I'm getting second hand smoke, everything.

Even slight second hand smoke triggers severe symptoms for me.

It wasn't until I made a super hard effort to remove ALL WEED that I started making HPPD-free progress.

10 days is a good start, but you seriously have to stop smoking. Maybe forever.

U know there is a handful of peeps on this site that can smoke dope with hppd which is extremely rare but they can't drink booze or get drunk because it exaggerates their dp/dr. I'm the complete opposite I can get completely inebriated from alcohol and the next day I feel normality at its natural form. It's a catch 22 for me I simply can't drink every day. U_U hppd24years.

I don't know why I've got hppd, the symptoms started years after my bad trip. I used to smoke a lot of "spice" when I was a teen, one time I had a really bad trip, strange hallucinations, and a panic attack. Years after, hppd like symptoms occured, like trails, afterimages etc, but I can't find a cause except maybe anxiety.

I came across this idea through some research and it might actually be helpful. Im not saying thats a cure or anything near that BUT subliminal messages have been proven that by their interaction with the subconscious mind trick it into believing what we want it to believe(seems like a placebo effect but its not). Basically, subliminals can be beneficial if they want them to be(crazy, right? ). Well its not. Its just the law of attraction. And dont get me wrong here because i don't want to give people false hopes, im not saying that it will be 100% helpful to every single person in here, im just saying that people should at least research it. Personally, ive used some subliminals in the past and they did help a lot(for thick hair etc.) I did have some good results, im not gonna lie. So i saw a video on yt(subliminal about hppd ) and it actually made a lot of sense. At the moment, im working on my own subliminal which will be specifically about hppd. The reason why im the one who makes it, its because i want to make sure that all the messages i will be using are 100% positive for the mind. I will upload this here but if you dont find it positive enough for your mind don't listen to it. There are some more factors to make a subliminal 'work' which i will be explaining if you want me to(im not no expert or anything near that so i advise you to research anything before trying). Thanks!

Hello guys, it's been a year since i had the same problem as you. Always exactly 1 year I took 150ug of LSD and had a terrible bad trip that traumatized me and left me sequels. I had flashbacks and I missed a lot because of it. Distorted visions in my peripheral field. All this was cured with antipsychotics, especially risperidone (I can not remember the dosage). But what it took to be cured was the emotional sequel that caused me. Psychedelic experiences transform you radically and unfortunately if you are not prepared for them it may take a long time for you to get back on track and I confess that I am not yet 100% healed of this trauma. But what I can say to you is that the worst of all this is not the visions, but the horrible thoughts that go through our heads thanks to the anxiety that causes us. And what I want to know about this post is just that. What are the thoughts that torment you because of this anxiety? Write them in the comments and we'll help each other by talking about them. For example, I used to think all the time that I was getting schizophrenic, that there would be some outbreak, over time this evolved into existential crises where I thought my soul was lost in space time and I was not living reality, just watching it (depersonalization and derealization helped in this).

Ive been accidently dosed like 8 tabs of liquid acid, and stupidly continued "tripping," even after that. So I started noticing a static over my vision, and I thought nothing of it at first. It has gotten much worse, and I haven't taken L.S.D in over a month. It especially gets worse if I'm smoking weed, it literally makes me have acid like visuals. Even without weed I get, tracers, halos around light, I get the pattern formation that forms when you take L, everything looks like it's shifting and melting, my anxiety has gotten progressively worse, I get visual snow, and I have pain behind my eyes sometimes, like a pressure almost, I have really bad after images, pretty much on anything bright, or lit up. Today for example I was driving, and looked at a stop sign when I looked down I saw the stop sign in my vision with my eyes open or closed. Does it ever get better, and is does it mean your brain is ruined?
