I see, sorry for being ignorant This christmas i started having anxiety problems that was out of this world, imagine a panic attack that kept on going for days and when the panicky feelings stopped i had serious overall anxiety 24/7. Cognitive behaviour therapy helped me to deal with social anxiety etc. but the anxiety over hppd is of course still present. Although i tried Atarax (Hydroxyzine) an amtihisthamine and that helped me alot.

During my hellish trip that gave me hppd i thought to my self: " Well, might as well get used to this if it won't pass."

Why start with benzo right away? And hppd has nothing to with the eyes, the anomaly is in the brain so an optician won't help you.

Mines been worsening too, way too much anxiety... Pregnant girlfriend, new job, family problems, insomnia (i sleep 4 hours every night tops)...

Welcome to the forum! So basically you suffer from after images and sore eyes? You've sure gotten away easy, or is that trippy feeling still there? Otherwise i wouldn't call it hppd actually... There are a ton of threads regarding medicine, read up and discuss with your doctor about which treatment would fit you.

I get sessions of really bad headache sometimes for several days straight, not migraine though but close.

Merkan! My swedish grandmother taught me a simple way to get rid of ear infection, you will need: A ladys sock 1 Yellow onion Step one, peel the onion and cut it in half. Step two, put both halves on your ears Step three, put the sock on your head so it covers the onion halves and keeps them in place. And shazam, you will get healthy in hours, if you don't then i'll tell my grandma it didn't work. Although it works for me everytime and i had ear infections a LOT when i was a kid!

Good post Mike, i always stay at home at first when my friends do stuff becouse i think that i won't enjoy it as much as before but it always ends up with me going with them and i think that i enjoy it the most! You've got nothing to loose if you've got hppd, unless you choose to.

Would you care to ellaborate why? I'm with Ferret on this one, HPPD -> ANXIETY -> COGNITIVE ISSUES SUCH AS SPEECH DIFFICULTIES.

Lovely! I think that i only have negative after images and of all symtoms, this bothers me the most. I might look into sinemet, after i see a doctor, i'm not much for doctors

Sounds like some kind of hypnagogic hallucination or just a case of extreme tiredness, my head turns into a clusterfuck when i have slept too little (or too much)
