  1. I second this, but sex with the lights off makes it come back
  2. What do you mean with the headline? What should we notify the hppd foundation about, the article?
  3. I don't really see how that could help any of us, interesting website though.
  4. Indeed, i've got two cats and i know for sure that they've been of great therapeutical value to me.
  5. Snow and darkness, Sweden in a nutshell...

Hehe agree. Shoveling snow with hppd is a pain in the ass.

  6. [...] But hear me out, what if. I'm just saying what if, but maybe the eyes and the brain (i don't know) feel like they do not get enough light (from any source) and therefor we see afterimages (prolonged imprints right?) traces and maybe cev's. I mean as id the brain is trying to fill a void, which was filled pre-hppd. I saw a documentary once about a man who had black spots in his field of vision and in these spots he could see faces and whatnot. The doctors told him that his brain was trying to fill the void in his vision with familiar entitys. But if our brains are trying to do this, all the symptoms we see aren't familiar in anyway apart from the trip right? I'm really bad at explaining and this looks freaking ridiculous when i'm reading it myself, this is just something i thought of last night though. I wish you all the best, and if you don't live in scandinavia then fuck you, i can barely leave my house becouse of all the snow
  7. The colours float around a tiny whiny bit, doesn't leave any afterimage though. My worst enemy is striped patterns, lines go crazy when i watch them.
  8. Thank you for posting this! I don't think that this is a life long condition for anyone. I for one have almost beaten the psychological part of hppd, mostly. No dp-dr (except for when i watch documentaries about outer space and russia and other things that makes you feel small and pointless in comparisio) almost no anxiety, only stress and caffeine-related. I guess if you just hang in there, you can beat it! And now i'm off for a few beers
  9. After i've closed my eyes for like 15 mimutes i see like a purple, creen-ish blob that's changing shapes slowly. But 10 minutes after i see cev's they dissapear and i see black, with static. A weird thing is that i can imagine anything and actually see it with my eyes closed, like a photograph. That oughta be the one of the few good thing that came with hppd.
  10. at it again, alcohol makes me whole! :)

  11. so fricken shitfaced atm, i'm rather happy with hppd than depressed without it.

  12. I feel the same eddie. This makes me feel the most "abnornal".
  13. With hydroxyzine i experienced less visual snow.
  14. Great! I'm gonna buy a bcaa supplement that has all the "L-" amino acids and l-glutamine, supposed to give pretty good results with exercising, two birds in one pill!
  15. Oh and guys, i've been taking a ZMA supplement every night for about a week (600mg magnesium, not sure about the amount of zink and b6) and my cev's when i try to sleep are completely gone. A nice temporary relief.
  16. I have loads of B6 at home so i might give it a try. And mike, the guy who noticed improvement from BCAA, did he suffer from HPPD, PMA or just visual snow? Either case i'll buy some tomorrow!
  17. During the worst period of my bad trip i thought: "Oh well i should better get used to this." I wonder what would've happened if i never thought that way.
  18. Haha hurricane Sandy is just the beginning... But my birthday is on the doomsday (21/12) so nothing better happen
  19. Any thoughts about l-glutamine anyone?
  20. That's what i thought, been anxious for two days ever since i read that l-tryptophan increases serotonine. Silly obsessive thoughts!
  21. My two worst symptoms are afterimages (traces included) and moving/warping objects. The rest i can cope with.
  22. Fighting this piece of shit disorder. Started going to the gym for the first time in ages, yay.

  23. Noticed today that my proteinpowder contains 0,4g l-tryptophan per dl. Is this any good or is it bad? Since l-tryptophan increases serotonin, or so it says on the label.
