windscar Posted February 4, 2011 Report Share Posted February 4, 2011 I've noticed there's a very simple way to diagnosis afterimages HPPD. Stare a light for 10 seconds. Then look to another direction and keep winking. Take note of how much time it takes until the negative is completely gone. I've noticed that for most people it happens within 10 to 20 seconds, while for me it takes up to 3 minutes. Do it. Also, some time ago a group of researches did a test that was very effective at discerning a group of NON-LSD users, LSD users and HPPDers. I lost that paper but I think they used a flickering light, so suppose it's possible to create a computer app based on that test capable of measuring the level of afterimage HPPD one have.
