Guyindubai
So I'm back on the Zoloft as my anexity has been skyrocketing out of the blue... I know the SSRI will increase the visuals, but for now I will just give it a go and see if it will help with my anexity OCD and other stuff. neffbull
"Antidepressant treatment was begun with sertraline 25 mg and was titrated upward slowly owing to concern about these flashbacks. Mild exacerbations of these LSD-like phenomena were noted for 2 to 4 days after each dosage increase, primarily as flashes of color, positive afterimages, and fleeting hallucinations in his peripheral vision. Within 1 month after the target dose of 100 mg was reached, these perceptual disturbances decreased until they had almost completely remitted. The depressive symptoms also improved. These gains were maintained for 4 months, at which point Mr. A graduated and terminated treatment." "SSRIs appear to worsen symptoms of HPPD, at least during the initial phase of treatment: People with HPPD treated with SSRIs and atypical antipsychotics (risperidone, olanzapine) reported an initial exacerbation of their flashbacks with a subsequent gradual improvement over time [Markel et al. 1994; Bonson et al. 1996; Espiard et al. 2005; Aldurra and Crayton, 2001]. It remains unclear whether this was due to the mood-enhancing effect with concomitant mental stabilization, or an increase in the diminished serotonergic neurotransmission in the visual cortex." It looks like I could help.
Guyindubai
Yup, I feel my visual increasing just a tiny bit while I feel the benefits already, because k use to be on Zoloft for 5 year... And I can already feel happier calmer and more confident... Still on 25mg dose for 1 week now. Only bad effects till now are slight increase in visuals nothing major! And feeling sleepy... The good thing is I started with the an antidepressant named Voldaxen, and it increases the production of melatonin and makes you sleepy, I will now tapper of the valdoxan and continue with the Zoloft, maybe this is the reason why I didn't feel any side effects ! Guyindubai
My anexity has vanished now.. I can say I rarely feel the anexity and my visuals haven't increase that much. Turns out the SSRI's work for me!
