I'm starting to think that what we see might be related to some problems we may have with our neck... A stiff neck seems to be a common symptom among people who see visual snow, trails, starbursts, etc. Personally, I had a car accident 4 years ago and got a whiplash. Never had any pain until last year (about the same time where I got HPPD with an SSRI). Meadow Posted March 12, 2013 Report Share Posted March 12, 2013 Sometimes my neck stiffens too, but I had this before getting HPPD and I don't see any connection between my symptoms and my neck actually, it feels stiff, when I laid wrong or soemthing like that, but I guess i am more sensitive to such kind of things... those feelings of my body are just more intense than before. LarryC Posted March 12, 2013 Report Share Posted March 12, 2013 I am fairly certain that trauma to my neck during a hike caused my relapse of HPPD. More symptoms came over time and the worst are ones I never had. The first started right after the hike.
