  1. Wow, just wanted to share this. This is an extract from http://www.chicagonow.com/chicago-medical-marijuana/2013/11/cannabidiol-the-side-of-marijuana-you-dont-know/
  2. Check out this article. It underlines and explains the effects of CBD / THC ratios on the brain. http://www.beckleyfoundation.org/bib/doc/bf/2008_Celia_211651_1.pdf
  3. I had this and it bugged me for a long time. I had pretty intense CEVs and trippy feelings and weird thoughts before sleeping as if I was on a high dose of LSD....what helped with me is mainly tacking anxiety through trying to calm down by breathing and saying to me that its all right. Positive thoughts, acceptance and no-fear is the key here
  4. Don't take stimulants when you have HPPD. The reason why even soft drinks make HPPD worse is because they often contain caffeine which triggers worse symptoms. It so bad that I, for example, don't even drink coke although I drink alcohol because stimulants are so bad.
  5. Trust me people: you can be happy with HPPD!! When I see so many depressed wealthy individuals in my homeland germany that have everything and then go back to Brazil where a majority of people have so little I realize how our view of the world is uniquely determined by our own brains. How shitty my life might get, stay optimistic and positive because 1. about a billion people are starving and you're are not 2. this life is all you got.
  6. don't relate it to the tree and make it seem superstitious, it is that part of HPPD is that patterns (even leaves maybe) appear to shake / ripple.
  7. It's funny when I read it I bit my fingers because I could so closely relate to it. For me, I have these weird images or snaps of dreams recurring in my mind sometimes randomly especially when Im tired or fatiguable. I guess it might be DP/DR or the same thing as you.... Greetings, T
  8. Awesome dude! I'm going to be studying in the Netherlands and I hope I will be able to seek him up! Bedankt man!!! groete
  9. I drink and its fine and going out actually helped me beat my anxiety (social and personal). You should keep away from any other drugs, especially uplifters like Caffeine, Amphetamines whatsoever and of course hallucigentics
  10. 1)17 2) Cannabis quite a lot for a period, 3x Ecstasy (Probably not pure MDMA), Alcohol 3) Ecstasy 4) neurosis (very fearful, OCD, mild depressions, harsh on myself, over perfectionist) From this post I can see that most people obtained HPPD in their early adulthood (16-20)
  11. In my first weeks I had crazy visuals when I would go to bed and would stay in the dark for 10 minutes...it would normally start of with the typical snow, that then would transform in moving shapes of snow and fractals and eventually on bad nights I would start seeing faces / beautiful sceneries...I remember three days after I got hppd I had this amazing trip which looked like I was flying through the universe...sounds crazy, but I am not. Well, many of them are enjoyable, and once you lose your axiety completely they dissapear too
