  1. The thing i hate most about my HPPD is my blue shape visuals. floaters have decreased but I'm basically afraid of the dark cuz thats when i can see them 100% clearly. I also hate how addicted to klonopin I am now but its keeping me from blowing my brains out so the lesser of two evils haha. but one thing that really pisses me off is how my friends don't care enough to remember that I have hppd and still ask me if I wanna trip/drink/smoke with them. I guess to a lot of people permanent/long lasting effects from psychedelics seems impossible so they think you're making it up to get attention. In a wierd way i wish hppd was less rare so there would be awareness and more research towards treatment. and kids would stop doing psychedelics all the time and ending up where we are now.
  2. I'm already taking 2 grams of lions mane a day to boost NGF and I have recently discovered ashitaba which is supposed to also boost NGF as well as overall wellness. I'm hesitant to order any because its freakin expensive but If anyone can tell me some posetive results I'll pull the trigger on some of this http://www.amazon.com/Percent-Ashitaba-Powder-3-52-50/dp/B002KMHX60/ref=sr_1_1?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1441713359&sr=8-1&keywords=ashitaba+powder&pebp=1441714421063&perid=1JSCB4MQ76R5NMS3XFJQ My current meds/supplements: Clonazepam 0.5mg twice daily Lion's mane powder 2g in morning smoothie Vitamin C 1g in morning smoothie Astragalus extract 250mg Krill oil one gel cap not sure of dose Magnesium one gel cap not sure of dose I like to think all of these are aiding in my recovery seeing as my HPPD I mild when compared to some of the people on here but its difficult to tell because my doc just upped my klonopin dose to the point where my visuals are reduced enough for me to have a grip on my life and continue with it "taking full time engineering classes and pledging a fraternity" aka can't be having anxiety and panic attacks screw with my studying. My symptoms: Vitreous floaters - seem to be getting better with time but were apparently due to a posterior vitreous detachment coincidentally when my hppd started according to my retina specialist. Although I'm sure hppd makes me notice them more. Blue geometric pseudohallucinations in the dark and on walls - DEFINITELY HPPD note: clonazepam makes them less noticeable and not dance around. The rest of my symptoms are mild and not so bothersome so I won't list them to try to keep this post short. In conclusion I'm about 3.5 months in and I feel confident that I will recover and it will just take time and patients. I'm finally learning to accept it and regaining control of my life.
  3. Thats awesome!! Gives me some hope especially considering the severity of your symptoms. Also found it kinda funny and ironic that lions mane a "mushroom" helped you with hppd lol.
  4. Hey guys this is my first post here. Back in highschool "4 years ago" I tripped maybe 7 times a few shroom trips and the rest acid. The final time in highschool I developed a mild case of hppd that went away after about three weeks so I decided I would never trip again until 2.5 months ago my dumb ass decided to take 1.5 hits of some potent acid at a party thinking that 3 week hppd in highschool was just a fluke and wouldn't happen again. But here I am ten weeks in. Symptoms: blue geometric visuals on walls/in the dark and floaters. Notes: floaters turned out to be from a posterior vitreous detatchment in my left eye. For a few years after my first hppd I would trip if I smoked weed so I abstained from weed, never liked it anyways. Both times I was drinking while taking lsd or what was sold as lsd. Seemed to get better to a point then stopped. Took 0.5mg Clonazepam per day from day 8 to two days ago. Stopped working and my psychiatrist didn't wanna raise the dose. Helped with anxiety for a while. Anyways thats my story. I've drank alcohol a few times since but I'm sober as a judge for two weeks and determined to do anything to recover. Like many of you this causes me a lot of depression, anxiety and regret so any and all support or words of comfort are extremely welcomed.
