It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the special 25th

Anniversary Annual Conference of the International Society

for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. The theme is “Understanding trauma and dissociation: Personal life, social process,

and public health.” This theme highlights the growing awareness

outside our field that trauma and dissociation have a major

negative impact not only on mental, but also physical health

of individuals, and on society at every level.

For the past 25 years, we have worked tirelessly to refine treatments and develop relevant research to improve the lives of

chronic trauma survivors, and this conference is the culmination of the fruits of our labor to date.

The competition among proposals was stiff this year, and the

selection process rigorous, resulting in a high caliber conference. We are pleased that presentations reflect the theme of the

conference in a well integrated manner. Thus, you will have a

wide array of stimulating and innovative presentations to hear,

many from the leading experts in our field.

Enjoy meeting and networking with colleagues from near and

far: ISSTD has members from 40 countries, in addition to the

US. You will be able to hear presentations from individuals

and groups from Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Japan, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the

Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, and Turkey, and attendees will come from those and many other places around the

world.

We are eager to share with you the special events and features

that will help us celebrate our 25th Anniversary:
